Data dashboard: Roaring Fork basin snowpack drops but still on par with normal

• Snowpack at McClure Pass was down to 8.7 inches of snow-water equivalent on April 21, or 70% of median. That’s down from 12 inches last week.
• Water ran at 27.3 cfs on April 21 through the Twin Lakes Tunnel that sends Roaring Fork flows east of the Continental Divide.
• Lake Powell’s elevation has gained 2.4 inches since last week.

Data dashboard: Local snowpack up after last week’s storm

• Snowpack in the Roaring Fork basin reached an average of 15.1 inches of snow-water equivalent per site on March 10, or 109% of median. That’s up from 13.4 inches on March 3 and from 100% of median.
• Lake Powell was 33.7% full on March 10, down from 33.9% last week.
• Low air temperatures at ASE reached -7 on Feb. 28 before going back up to 23°F on March 2.

Data dashboard: Lake Powell’s water levels down, Roaring Fork snowpack is up

• Snowpack in the Roaring Fork basin reached an average of 13.4 inches of snow-water equivalent per site on March 3, or 100% of median. That’s up from 12.2 inches on Feb. 25 and from 96% of median.
• Lake Powell’s elevation reached 3,561.7 feet on March 3, down from 3,562.6 feet on Feb. 25.
• Air temperatures at ASE kept swinging and dropped as low as 2°F on Feb. 27.
